What we hold

What you give us on the waiting list form or when you join: your name and contact details, your child's first name and date of birth, and anything you choose to tell us, such as an allergy. If you said yes when you signed up, we also take photographs at sessions, which may go on our Facebook or Instagram pages without names.

Why

To run the sessions safely, put your child in the right group and keep in touch with you. Our legal basis is running the programme you asked to join. Anything about your child's health, and any photographs, only because you said yes.

Who sees it

Only the volunteers who run the sessions. We never sell it or use it for advertising. It is kept with the services we use for email, admin, this website's form and payments, some of which store data outside the UK under the standard safeguards. Card payments go through Stripe and we never see your card details.

How long

While your child is with us, then it is deleted at the end of the season after they leave. Payment records and any accident records are kept longer, in case they are needed later.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold, or change your mind about anything you said yes to, by emailing info@beforeitcounts.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

This site sets no cookies and has no tracking. Before It Counts is run by volunteers in Newtownabbey.
